Individual Leagues - Structure and Format.
Individual leagues are also typically structured with a classic round-robin format.
Players are divided into one of three groups (this may expand to more).
They are put into an automatic league draw system which draws all the matches for the season.
Matches are played at the participants’ convenience - you coordinate with your opponents to schedule games and venues, whatever works best for everyone.
All matches have to be completed within a set period (currently 16 weeks between October and January) and you’ll play 6-7 opponents both home and away during this time.
Flexibility is one of the great things about the Individual Leagues.
Players will also usually take a break during the Christmas and the New Year period and also tryto avoid any other important personal dates.
Within a given match, you'll play a race to 8 frames of 8-Ball Pool against your opponent, so that's 15 frames maximum. As soon as one player reaches 8 frame wins, that player is deemed the winner with each frame won scoring 1 point plus the winner scores 3pts extra, a close defeat (reaching 6 frames) for losing player scores 1 pt extra point, so a close encounter sees the loser better rewarded than in a thrashing.
A fixtures list is published on our App.
One of the great things about our leagues is that you can see the whole season’s fixtures well in advance and notify your opponent of which dates you can be available to play and when you can’t, making it easy to schedule your matches.
